We believe that web design is a broad term that encompasses a great deal more than whether a website looks good or not. Website design includes the structure of the sitemap, ensuring that all pages are easy to find through a logical structure. The layout of each page – ensuring that key information is presented clearly, and that the page isn’t overcrowded – is at least as important as the final design aspects of colors and fonts.
Usability and the utility, not the visual design, determine the success or failure of a web-site. Since the visitor of the page is the only person who clicks the mouse and therefore decides everything, user-centric design has established as a standard approach for successful and profit-oriented web design. After all, if users can’t use a feature, it might as well not exist.
