I am totally new to this “website thing”. How does the whole process work?

How long does it take to build a site?

Once we have all the content (text and images), it should take 1-3 weeks for us to design and build a typical, small scale website of 8-10 pages.

Are your sites mobile-friendly?

Yes. Every site we have built since 2010 has been mobile-friendly. The method we use to achieve this is known as responsive design, which ensures that the site works well on a wide variety of screen sizes, from smartphones and tablets through to small and large desktop monitors.

Does Success Leads provide copy writing services? How about photography?

Not directly, but if your project calls for copywriting, photography, original illustration, video or other creative service, just let us know. We have an extensive network of creative associates that we work with. We would be happy to make a recommendation.

Q: What is a logo / wordmark?

A logo is a combination of characters, images and/or graphics creating a single design used to identify an individual, business, company, organization, team or school. The logo is typiclly a visual image used as a company trade mark or instead of the company name. When consisting solely of stylized textual elements, such symbols are referred to as logotypes or wordmarks.

Q: Will we own the rights to a logo that you design for us?

Once we have completed the design process, and you have paid in full for your final logo design, the copyrights of that final individual logo are then transferred to you and you own them. We own the rights to any creative concepts not chosen.

Q: How many changes can I have done to my logo design?

We believe in ‘unlimited’ revisions until you are happy and not handcuffing you to a specific number of changes. Depending on your schedule and when you require your final files, we are happy altering the intermediate designs until we arrive at a finished logo you are completely happy with and are proud to use for years to come.

What is a domain name?

A domain name, a series of textual characters that identifies a specific IP address, uniquely identifies a website on the Internet. Domain names locate businesses, organizations, or other entities on the Internet. Domain names are easy to remember, easy to type alternatives to obscure URL’s that you receive with free website hosting services. Using a domain name allows you to receive more visitors, less bounced emails, and the chance to make a lasting impression on the Web.

Do I need a domain name to have a website?

How long will it take to register my domain name?

Your domain name is registered in a matter of minutes, provided the registration form is filled out correctly. 🙂

What is SEO?

SEO is an acronym for “search engine optimisation” which is the enhancement of your web pages and their online profile so as to improve your site’s ranking in the Search Engine results pages (SERPS) for nominated clusters of keyword phrases. As Google states on their website “Deciding to hire an SEO is a big decision that can potentially improve your site and save time…”.
